Reliance Aerotech Launches Annual Aviation Maintenance Industry Survey
Nashville, TN – General Manager of Reliance Aerotech Services Inc. (RAS), Ron Jordan, today announced RAS has launched its annual Aviation Maintenance Industry Survey. The 2009 aviation maintenance survey seeks the opinions of aviation maintenance and HR managers on key issues involving the use of outsourced labor in aircraft maintenance facilities in North America and the risk factors associated with these programs.
All aviation MRO and HR managers are invited to participate in the survey. Those aviation MRO and HR managers who have not already received a personal invitation can request an invitation by visiting the Customer Support page on the Reliance Aerotech Services website http://www.relianceaerotech.com/services/customersupport.
As a thank you to participants who complete the survey, each person will have their names entered in a contest to win one of four $100 restaurant gift certificates and a grand prize of a model replica of the Wright Flyer.
Reliance Aerotech Services began the annual industry surveys in 2003 to increase the level of professionalism in the contract aviation maintenance industry. The objectives for the surveys include:
- Establishing benchmarks that serve to guide decision making within aviation maintenance organizations in regard to contract labor
- Enhancing the quality of the employee screening process by understanding what motivates good contract maintenance professionals
- Building consensus among maintenance organizations, contract maintenance professionals, and contract maintenance outsourcing companies on critical issues involving the outsourcing of aviation maintenance labor.
